Bruce Parsons' Trek fanfic novel Second Federation is available at http://www.freewebs.com/adventphoenix/secondfederation.htm. The five year mission is winding down, when a rumor of a new weapon appears in Klingon space.  Will the Enterprise finish its career in a blaze of glory as Kirk and crew seek to save not only the Federation, but the Klingon people as well?
